Seven original woodcut prints** have been created in this colour scheme.  Each is unique in the amount of ink coverage, and they are shown in order in which they were created (ever helpful studio cat not included with 3/7). The last image is the carved plate used in the printing process.

** Woodcut prints are created by carving an image into a wooden/MDF plate, then rolling ink over the plate and transferring the image onto heavy paper using a printing press.  The result is an original piece of artwork that has the modern appeal of a screen-printed piece but with a more uniquely embossed texture.  Some prints can look more like oil paintings depending on the printing and inking techniques used.  To learn more about the printmaking process, check out our XXXX page.
